SBCS students have the opportunity to learn in the field. From kindergarten trips to the pumpkin patch, to eighth graders visiting Washington, DC. field trips are seen as an important time, not just for learning but for growing together as a community.
Middle School students start the year at Forest Home in Ojai with an outdoor education camp. Elementary students visit places of history like La Purisima as well as places of care like the humane society. Trips vary from science at the UCSB Chem lab to Physics at Disneyland.
