SBCS offers extended day enrichment for all students. The extended day program is available for an additional fee from 3:15 – 5:30 p.m. The purpose of the extended day program is to provide a safe and nurturing place for students to be during the after school hours and to expose them to learning opportunities that are not available during the regular school day.
The daily routines of extended day include a nutritious snack, quiet study time, and a variety of physical activities that give students the opportunity to be active during the after school hours. A variety of activities are schedules throughout the year that give students additional learning opportunites such as basketball clinics hosted by the Santa Barbara Breakers Semi-Pro Basketball Team and a chess class taught by expert instructors.
